The pastor's wife

via Andrew Sullivan and scienceblogs.com comes this little gem. Haggard’s wife is the one at fault. Thinking she had her man trapped into fidelity she let herself go…. Makes me want to stop having anything to do with the organized church. Yet the problem is not whether or not the ‘pastor’s wife’ – and he doesn’t seem to have heard of women pastors who have husbands – but the expectations that he and the rest of the church put on those same spouses.
