It's just got to be the illness. Right?

Thanks to Box Turtle Bulletin for pointing out that more that one organization thinks that Shalikashvili must be sick since he's changed his mind. It can't be that the evidence from his experience and the experience of other armed forces is such that he's made a reasoned decision. Nope it's his health. Both the American Family Association and Focus on the Family agree. That both organizations consistently misstate and misuse scientific research and have been called on it - that's beside the point. That all major health organizations disagree with them - that's irrelevant. Homosexuality just isn't what Focus on the Family and the American Family Association proclaim. Homosexuality is a normal variation of sexual relationships in species that have male and female genders.
