Military officials and religion

I thought the rules were clear. Government isn't supposed to support any religion over another. Yet there's a case where military officers - who are supposed to or so I believed - stay out of politics until after their terms of service parading around in a video supporting one particular religious point of view and with no mention that they speak for themselves and not the military.
