No sympathy

The Republic of T has an article about being less than sympathetic towards the New Life church layoffs. Contributions have dropped after Haggard's departure over lies and sex. I, too, have little sympathy. From the reports I've seen the congregation is working at rooting out the sinners, but not working on the ways that they are complicit in enabling the sin. Until the solid work is done on their own role I see little hope of recovery.
