Another laugh, another love
Marching or creeping,
even crawling in pain
so we go forward
seeking God’s reign.
Slipping and sliding
falling backwards again
yet with hope and a promise
we are seeking God’s reign.
Laughing and crying
the joke is on us
we live in the future
that’s glorious.
