Why the poetry?

I do write poetry, though I've been a little slow this year. But a few years back I switched computers and while I had backup on disk and paper the new word processing program wasn't compatable. But, oh frabjous day, I recently was able to convert some files into my current word processor and able to just paste and point rather than type them in again. And while I lost some formatting it just doesn't seem as onerous as typing it all in. And so I'm sharing snippets.
